Boston Harbor Association is established.

Founded by volunteers from the Massachusetts League of Women Voters and the Boston Shipping Association, it is subsequently located at 374 Congress Street. A non-profit organization, its purpose is to clean up the harbor. In 1975, it hosts a conference entitled “Boston Harbor . . . Who Cares?” The group merges with the Boston Harbor Island Alliance in 2016.*
